Published in ten volumes from 1830 to 1835, the journal is a treasure trove of articles providing critical evaluations of schools, universities, educational methods and systems, from elementary to university level. A particular feature is the wealth of information provided on educational systems and developments from around the world, including Russia, USA, France, Germany, Norway, Italy, India and eastern Europe.
